Sabs' in flight

The sabine's gull spent the latter half of my Sunday visit feeding in the harbour at North Shields - and despite extremely close views (fly pasts of a couple of meters!) it was tricky to photograph - a smaller lens would have been much more useful. Light was poor to say the least, but maybe there will be another opportunity with better conditions as the gull appears to be lingering in the area.
The two images here are presented as an alternative to the standard flight view...

CB - I didn't! 99.9% of the flight shots from the harbour were not sharp (which is a shame given what good views we had).

I - on nights this week, so wil have to do with Centuary / Galaxy drivel from the radio! Thanks for the offer... Reverend and the makers on Sat ~ should be ok

Great shots and remember us old gits see everything blurred so sharp is just for the magazine editors. Have been bemoaning the lack of good light for what seems like weeks now.
My blog isn't automatically updating in anybodys following list for some reason so any ideas would be appreciated.
