News of the yellow breasted bunting on Inner Farne came a tad too late in the day for me... all was not lost though, I'd already had a very pleasant morning with the semipalmated sandpiper at Cresswell.
CB - thanks, it's taken a few days of trying to get my position right for this county mega!
BB - It was mild relief that the bunting was ortolan - though I would have been inclined to get up early today for a crack at it (on nightshift - hence the difficulty yesterday!!) Autumn is a great time for disrupted sleep/family lfe etc!!
