Another waxwing image from Monday 24th, the last image taken late afternoon. Thought I might have got back there again today, but after a tiring nightshift I didn't get of bed till after 3!

    Why do you get such nice backgrounds for your Waxwings? Mine are always against busy twiggy backgrounds with a lot of sky and CA......

    ...it was a case of one branch sticking out in front of a large conifer and a restricted angle from the car!
